1 Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Nudge Call Manager application ("Nudge Call Manager", "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms form a legal agreement between you and bfyaı ("we", "us", "our"), the maker of Nudge Call Manager. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App.
2 Description of the service
Nudge Call Manager is a call screening application for Android. It provides:
- Incoming call screening — silences unknown and spam numbers before your phone rings, using a community spam database checked entirely on-device
- Bond circles for priority contacts
- Call insights and analytics (Pro feature)
- Spam number database lookup
- 26-language localisation with local currency pricing
The App operates primarily offline. No account or internet connection is required for core call screening functionality.
3 Free trial & subscriptions
7-Day Free Trial
Upon first installation, Nudge Call Manager grants you a 7-day free trial of all Pro features. No payment information is required to start the trial. The trial begins the moment you first open the App and cannot be paused or reset.
Nudge Pro Subscription
After the trial period, continued access to Pro features requires a paid annual subscription ("Nudge Pro") purchased through Google Play. Subscriptions are:
- Billed annually through Google Play in your local currency
- Auto-renewing unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- Non-refundable except where required by law or granted at our discretion
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
Price changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you before any price change affects your renewal. Continued use after a notified price change constitutes acceptance.
⚠️ Google Play's refund policy governs all payment disputes. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds outside of Google Play's policies.
4 Acceptable use
You agree to use Nudge Call Manager only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the App to harass, stalk, or harm any person
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- Use the call screening feature to evade law enforcement or emergency services
- Falsely report legitimate numbers as spam to the community database
- Use automated means to interact with the App or its services
- Attempt to circumvent subscription verification
- Distribute modified versions of the App
We reserve the right to terminate access for any user who violates these terms.
5 Intellectual property
All content, design, branding, code, and trademarks within Nudge Call Manager and on Nudge Call Manager.bfyaı.in are the property of bfyaı or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The "Nudge Call Manager" name, the BFY logo, and associated product marks may not be used without our prior written permission.
6 Disclaimers & limitations of liability
No guarantee of accuracy
Nudge Call Manager uses AI and community data to assess calls. We do not guarantee that every spam call will be identified or that every legitimate call will be allowed through. Always use your own judgement. Do not rely on Nudge Call Manager as your sole means of deciding whether to answer a call.
Emergency calls
Nudge Call Manager is not designed to interfere with emergency calls. However, you are responsible for ensuring your device can always reach emergency services (e.g., 112, 999, 911). Disable call screening if you have concerns.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, bfyaı shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost calls, missed opportunities, or data loss — arising from your use of Nudge Call Manager.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current subscription period.
"As is" service
Nudge Call Manager is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses.
7 Call screening & permissions
Nudge Call Manager requires specific Android permissions to function (listed in our Privacy Policy). By granting these permissions, you authorise Nudge Call Manager to:
- Monitor incoming call metadata (number and call state) to run screening logic
- Read your contacts to match Bond circle members
- Post notifications about call screening outcomes
You can revoke any permission at any time through your device's app settings. Revoking call screening permission will disable the core screening functionality.
You remain responsible for all calls made or received on your device. Nudge Call Manager is a screening aid — it does not replace your legal obligations regarding telephone communications in your jurisdiction.
8 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Nudge Call Manager, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling any active subscription through Google Play.
On termination: all locally stored data is deleted when you uninstall the App. Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
9 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Nudge Call Manager shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If you are located in a jurisdiction that requires local dispute resolution, applicable consumer protection laws in your country may also apply and are not overridden by these Terms.
10 Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified via the App or email (if you have contacted us). Continued use of Nudge Call Manager after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
