1 Who we are
Nudge Call Manager is a product by bfyaı, an independent software company based in India. Nudge Call Manager is an Android call screening app — it silences unknown and spam calls before your phone rings, and lets your Bond contacts always come through. Our website is bfyaı.in and you can reach us at hello@bfyai.in.
2 What data Nudge Call Manager collects
✅ Almost nothing. Nudge Call Manager is designed to work entirely offline. The only data we ever receive is what you voluntarily send us — for example, an email to our support address.
Specifically, Nudge Call Manager may collect:
- Support enquiries — if you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to you.
- Crash reports (optional) — if you opt in to crash reporting, anonymised stack traces may be sent to help us fix bugs. No personal data is included.
- Subscription status — Google Play manages payment. We receive only a subscription token (no payment card details) to verify your Pro status.
3 What data Nudge Call Manager does NOT collect
- Your phone number or identity
- Your call history or call recordings
- Your contacts or Bond circle members
- Your location
- Your PIN or any biometric data
- Any advertising identifiers or tracking cookies
- Any data via analytics SDKs — we do not integrate Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or similar
✅ There is no user account. There is no login. Nudge Call Manager does not know who you are.
4 Permissions we request
Nudge Call Manager requests the following Android permissions. All processing happens on-device.
READ_PHONE_STATE & CALL_SCREENING
Required to detect incoming calls and run AI screening. Call metadata (number, direction) is processed locally and never sent off-device.
READ_CONTACTS
Used to match incoming numbers against your Bond circles. Contact data is read from your device and never uploaded.
SEND_SMS / READ_SMS (optional)
Only requested if you use the in-app SMS action from Bond circles. SMS content is never read or stored by Nudge Call Manager.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
To display screening results and call alerts on your screen.
Internet (INTERNET permission)
Used only to verify your Google Play subscription token and (optionally) sync the community spam number database. No personal data is transmitted.
5 Local storage
Nudge Call Manager stores the following data locally on your device only, using encrypted MMKV storage:
- Your hashed PIN (never stored in plain text)
- Your Bond circle contact list
- App settings and screening preferences
- Trial start timestamp
- Google Play subscription token
This data is scoped to the app's private storage. It is deleted when you uninstall Nudge Call Manager or clear app data. We cannot access it remotely.
6 Third-party services
Google Play Billing
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We receive a subscription receipt token to verify your Pro status. We never see your payment card details. Google's privacy policy governs their handling of payment data.
Spam database (community-sourced)
Nudge Call Manager may periodically download an updated list of known spam numbers. This is a one-way download — no data about your calls or device is sent in the request beyond a standard HTTPS header.
⚠️ We do not integrate any advertising networks, social login providers, or third-party analytics SDKs.
7 Children's privacy
Nudge Call Manager is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8 Your rights
Because Nudge Call Manager stores all data locally on your device, you have complete control:
- Access — all your data is on your own device, accessible through the app.
- Deletion — uninstalling Nudge Call Manager or clearing app data deletes everything.
- Portability — your data never leaves your device, so there's nothing to port.
- Correction — you can edit settings, circles, and preferences inside the app at any time.

9 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Nudge Call Manager after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
